My birthday was awesome

yesterday was my birthday i did nothing NOTHING awesome.I went to see mom came home  and we all went to eat at Chile's and i had a salad okay and then my cake was a fruit Boston cream  which was good everything i ate was diet... wow.
Like i was telling Joe i think I'm mature before i would have gotten my feeling hurt when Joe would come home without a gift for me but not this year I'm okay i had an awesome day no gift just a lot of birthday wishes from my kids and husband and family too.I'm okay Thank you Jesus thank you.

life comes at u fast

over the weekend we had one neighbors father die and our other neighbor taken to the hospital.you dont want to be nosy but i am concerned, worried about them and what they may need but .... I will put them in Gods hand to give them what they need when they need it.
Our weather has been nice got out yesterday to visit mom for a while then home to this mess of a house with no energy to straighten it up.But i gotta do today since were having company
  My bday is coming on thursday and I'm okay with it my dad will be coming this weekend with his wife which he never brings which makes me feel bad for my mom she wont be included in my birthday celebration and i know she feels it too.why could i have pushed hardier for them to stay together?i guess at the time i was in my own world, my own life.
oh and as far as my knitting goes im stuck again remember those fingerless glove and the needles i said i wanted well there not that easy to handle for a beginner so im trying and trying to get them going and too i have to redesign the pattern since im working in the round but im having fun with it.
well lots to do today so till next time..

Snow

So Im sitting here waiting for the snow to pile up..We live in Austin so it has to do alot of snowing in order for that to happen.I told the kids that if it started to snow id wake them up so here i am waiting..
   Im trying to create a knit pattern of my own fingerless gloves with a cable going down the middle.Ive seen patterns but this one is easy and i want to try it on my own.Im even thinking of buying me some needle to work in the round but not circular needles.Im really surprised at how much im enjoying Knitting.So what do u do when it gets hot i tend to move on but then i alway crocheted afghans.The knitting  projects are small and may not be hot or make your hands sweaty.I do need to make a list of scarfs and hats i want to made and get a head start right instead of waiting till the last minute.I dont know
  How do you handle disappointment?I worked long and hard on a cowl for my son and all along i thought he was wearing it ..he'd put it on and out the door he went ..well this week its been cold and Ive been taking him to the bus stop and to my surprise i seen him take it off before he got on the bus...My balloon popped ...Im sad.My other son who is 7 just flat out told me he lost it so hes back to wearing his old scarf

a cold day for us

Im so frustrated its cold out and I forgot to call my uncle who is deaf to leave the water running so pray that all goes well.
I love this weather ...but then it Texas weather
I have so much on my mind where do i vent where do i put it the blame if there is any im so angry i want to cry ...God help me
